Golden Oldies
I’ve not really been one to like seeing old photographs for sale at car boot sales and street sales etc. (finding it a bit lame and the images generally being just below average holiday snaps) however when in Brighton recently I did actually take the liberty of spending a good amount of time looking through a box full. I admit that my view was a little bit narrow minded because I really did find some that I liked and subsequently bought. I could say what I like about each one but right now I’m really tired and need sleep. I’d be interested to hear which ones other people like though? Truthfully I can’t wait until I go back to look through the other boxes in detail to see if I can find any more interesting pieces of history.
The following were various sizes below A6. I regret it may not be possible to see all the important fine details in these photographs on the web, but they’re worth a look I hope.

some of these are wicked dude.
i particularly like the kid in the pram.
odd that i find looking through snapshots of strangers more interesting than my own family photos.
Love these pics dude! Really nice collection.
You know i love photos of oldies. I love the mystery that comes with each of these images … and how i strive to know a little more about the story that lies within each one.
Particularly like the one of the man in front of the lamp post (about half way through). I like the ones where there is a single person in the shot … make an interesting set.
