Safety in Numbers

About a month ago, I went for a walk. With my camera. For the first time in what has been far, far too long.
I started off in Bow, and made my way around Mile End and back, before finding myself on top of the Olympic site in Stratford, only to be unexpectedly swept along by a guided tour…

Ever since, I’ve been planning on a decent sized post, with a few of the snapshots from that day, and even some dodgy audio I’d recorded on my phone, capturing some of the tour guide’s epic speech, (and all it’s subtle connotations…) but that will all have to wait. As time is against me, I’ll go for a more sporadic, scattergun approach whenever I get a minute and have finished tweaking an image or two.

Nice, looking forward to seeing the rest. Have you shot anything on the large format yet?

Nope, and it’s starting to bother me… but I’ve only got myself to blame… hopefully will put some sheets through it before January…

Have u managed to get it so you can use it now? Its a bit more difficult to just shoot something when each frame is costing you a small fortune I suppose ;) feels like it needs to be profound. Looking forward to Jan?

Yep – I’ve got everything I need… but as I’m limited to 2 days a week of daylight, and those have recently been taken up with other things, I’ve still yet to get out and about with it.

I have got a 6×7 conversion back though which I’ll run some rolls through first to make sure everything works, before I get on to the seriously expensive stuff…
