I saw this really well-made presentation by Claudia Leisinger, via Foto8.
Could the City of London really be planning to wipe out over 300 years of history?
I’m rarely enthralled by multimedia pieces (and maybe this exists as a series without a slideshow etc) but this one was quite captivating. The men sounded just like I expected them to, and the place looked as I’d imagined. It’s strange how in three and a half minutes I can learn about something’s existence and destruction, and be moved to at least a degree of sadness. I felt a warmth in it all that is no doubt to be replaced by something soulless.
That said, this is quite genuinely all I know on the subject. Not all change is evil, and sometimes progress is just plain better. I don’t know why this is happening.
